Strasburg Lands on the DL

WASHINGTON -- The Nationals have placed right-hander Stephen Strasburg on the 15-day disabled list because of right shoulder inflammation. The move is retroactive to July 22, and they activated Scott Olsen, who will start against the Braves on Thursday.

"It's what's best for the team," Strasburg said. "Obviously having Miguel Batista as a reliever, we're going to need him in the bullpen. We can't really rely on him to go out there and start."
