Most of us knew it was coming, and it was a good move to make.
But that's not to say that DP Lee, who sucks at baseball, will not be missed. He was a very good Cub for most of his tenure here, and a lot of us loved him.
Good luck Derrek Lee. Thank you for everything that you did to try to help the Cubs get a WS title.

Derrek is one of my favorites and was a cornerstone of this franchise for 6 years. I hope he gets one hell of a standing ovation this weekend when the Braves come to Wrigley.

He was my favorite player for a few years. He is definitely in the top 5 all-time Cubs for me. But hey, now I have a reason to not wear my Lee jersey.

It will be bittersweet this weekend. I will be at the Cubs-Braves game on Friday! I hope to see him play!
