Could Crawford and Pena both head to Oakland?

"The main thing is that I want to see how the season ends and how things work out with this team," Crawford said. "I hope things go well, and if not, I'll have to see what's out there. (Oakland) does have good pitching. I'll weigh a lot of things, but obviously I want to go somewhere where the team can win."

Peña is likely to move on from Tampa Bay. Asked if he'd ever consider returning to Oakland, a team that traded him as a rookie, Peña said, "Of course. I don't rule out anything like that, and I like the area."

I'm going with absolutely not. Nobody wants to go to Oakland.

How do you know they don't want to? Oakland has some nice young pieces to build around..

They're going to probably have to take deals far under their market value to happen. Many teams will be trying to line up Crawford. I don't see Oakland being able to snarf them up. Especially, like I said, Crawford.

Put your money on the Angels.

I'll go with Crawford going to the Angels or Tigers. I could see Pena going to the A's or staying with the Rays.

Pena? Perhaps. No chance they get Crawford.

Oaklands a dump. These are players that are going to have teams lining up to get them. They can go anywhere they want. I don't see them settling for Oakland.

I've got Pena pegged for the Cubs on a 1 or 2 year deal. Cubs need a stopgap 1b for a season, with Pena's age and down season I could see him taking a 1 year deal to Chicago.
