Manny Ramirez: Who claims him?

Will anyone claim Manny? As a Rays fan I can only hope that he ends up in Tampa. I think the White Sox end up claiming him...or MAYBE the Red Sox.

The Rays are my guess.

I hope its the White Sox, even though pitching has been our biggest issue during our cold streak. (and Mark Teahen just came back so I imagine they are just gonna DH him the rest of the way (unless our Manager continues to ****ing play Kotsay))

We need some kind of fire to get us back on track, and Manny is the perfect candidate to bring that. Plus, he's a totally different player in the postseason.

I thought he was being traded for Longoria, Pena, Pedroia, or the best one of them all Juan Pierre.

I think if the Rays pickup Manny, it'll be detrimental to the club. You can say he's been injured and stuff all you want, but he's not shown up this season and his personality wouldnt be the best thing for the young ball club. He would help the Rays get ahead of the Yankees, so its not worth it. Manny isn't being Manny. He'd help them hold the Wild Card spot, but his impact won't be what it could be. Damon would've been better for them, IMO.

The White Sox, however, I see being a much better fit. Ozzie and Manny would be an amusing duo. Minnesota isn't as loaded with talent as much as the Yanks, so a late season collapse or a losing skid for them could be more likely.

But looking at the schedule, it COULD help TB, cause they play New York in two series in September, and the Twins and Sox only meet once.

I hope it's the White Sox, but I'm guessing the Rays.
