Should the Cubs keep Dewitt? Or should they try to find a different second basemen this offseason?

Hopefully they can find a second baseman in the off season so they won't have to start DeShitt.
He's more of a utility bench player rather than a starter

Dewitt better be a utility player if the cubs plan on competing next year. We really could use a leadoff guy who plays 2b. Castro looks to have the 2nd hole locked down for a long time.

I don't know I like Dewitt. Looking at his stats he's a +12 in Sf. (Scrappy Factor)

He's young and will be cheap for awhile. He'd be a really good backup. I think he's defensible as long as you have a bunch of other big bats on the team.
He's prolly in the top 25 second basemen in the league.

Dewitt will be the primary infield backup next season for 2nd and 3rd base. Second base is one of the few options the Cubs can upgrade at.

I don't think they should keep him, but I'm sure they'll give him a chance to prove himself next year.

Why not keep him? He's 24. He's going to be a pretty good backup INF worst case, he might even be the lefthanded half of a platoon on his best end.
He's a pretty good player for how cheap he'll be. They might as well keep him.
