why would cj wilson and buchholz be listed but not the better options on the same team?

CC and David Price are too close to call. I go with CC because he has 3 more starts and he's been pitching great as of late. Come the end of the season, things might not be so close between him and Price. Both are the ace on the best teams in the league. Very close race between those two. Wilson and Cahill don't have enough wins to get the Cy in my opinion. Buccholz has 5 less starts and 50 less innings pitched than CC. His wins and strike outs are less but his ERA is good enough for him to possibly win the Cy.
Halladay and Wainwright are close too. Wainwright has the slight edge in win-loss and ERA at the moment, and his strike outs are a little less. Looking at the numbers, Wainwright gets the slight edge, but Halladay has pitched a perfect game. That's why I would give it to Halladay. Both of their teams are also in a battle for first place in their divisions. Jiminez only has 4 losses but his ERA is a little higher and his strikeouts are a little lower. He is also falling fast from how he was earlier this season. Latos and Hudson would be favorites if they pitched in the AL, but they don't have enough to beat out Halladay and Wainwright for the Cy in the NL.

Lester has an ERA exactly 1.00 over Buchholz, and unless your counting the bullpen then there is no better options then Clay on the Red Sox I mean you could factor in strikeouts and WHIP (Which Clay's WHIP is like 1 or 2 higher last time I checked) Cliff Lee's ERA isn't as good as CJ anymore but Cliff Lee's K/BB rate is absolutely fantastic and as well goes for his ERA so Lee should be up there in my opinion. But Clay should stay up there.

Again, why would Wilson get it over Lee and Bucholz over Lester? You make no sense

Red Sox:
Jon Lester: 13-8, 3.26 era, 166 k's
Clay Bucholz: 15-5, 2.26 era, 96 k's
Rangers:
Cliff Lee: 10-7, 3.09 era, 151 k's
CJ Wilson: 12-5 3.02 era, 128 k's
Okay I would replace Cliff Lee for CJ Wilson on my list. But I would still put Clay over Lester on my list. Lester is the more proven but the numbers this season look a lot better for Clay.
