Love the show watched the season premier last night w/ the jets. Would the concept of this show work w/ a NHL team?
i'd love to see it happen and think it would be awesome to watch. getting a behind the scenes look at a nhl training camp would be sick

While I've only seen a few episodes of hard knocks, I do think a reality type show would be a good marketing tool for the NHL. Hockey players are always described as the most down to earth of all athletes. I know the Blackhawks did some stuff locally where they would have a half hour show about once a month that would have some behind the scenes things as well as some "skits" (the dating game with the players wifes for example).

I think it would be great but it wouldnt happen because there are too few nhl fans and not enough to carry the rankings

It wouldn't work on HBO, but that's what the NHL network is for. MLB is doing a relatlity show called "The Club" on the White Sox on it's network.

I think it would be good. I agree hockey players are more down to earth, but there are also some good personalities out there.

The Pittsburgh Sidney's would be the only team they would consider doing. Why not give him some more exposure? I'm sure there's still a whole **** load of non-NHL fans who don't realize he's the best player in the league.
