one of my favorite knicks

i like him more than all the other potential guys but people seem ready to throw him in the trash.

lets all put our heads together and figure out what the kid can actually do. videos are welcome to support your argument. no player comparisons or ceilings. we are talking simply about actual performances not potential performances..

Chandler.. Our starting 2 or potential sixth man of the year. Great all around game.. Great slasher, solid mid range shooter, solid rebounder, and should see more opportunities with the mercenaries gone. He's one of ur favorites so u already know what he brings to the table. Will is the Knicks Swiss army knife bluntly put.

....Only Knick player...isiah Drafted or traded for that

Walsh liked is TMAC and he had was damaged goods.....

Chandler is Gone...cause he was drafted by Isiah Thomas....

What can Chandler do is not important to current Knick

management....

Knick managements propaganda,,,is Rautins is a skilled player..

Turiaf is a skilled player...Azuibeke is much better then Chandler,

Masgov is great acquisition....

Stats is Knicks worse enemy...so stating Chandler stats....

is meaningless...to the Knicks......

Marbury,,,,,,Crawford....Zach,,,,D Lee...Chandler....

are Bad players no matter their accomplishments....

and the opposite is true of Walsh acquisitions.

Walsh players are great,,,,even if they never acomplished

anything in the NBA

What ever,,,,Wilson can do....he will do it for another team

Best SF and SG we have on this team. PPDK is right on point what this kid can do. Hope we keep him. But if its him or Melo, Obviously I pick Melo but again, I think Will is our core and should be kept along with Gallo, Amare, and AR.

Solid role player that can give 15ppg. Needs to understand his limits (3pt shot and handling) a little bit more and use is strengths more (stop and pop, great slasher).

I think he is a player any team needs. He may not be a star or even a all star, but he's a solid player that doesnt get mentioned every night but that doesnt mean he didnt do a solid job whether it be on defense or offense.

Has a nice mid-range game.

Has average slashing ability but does get to the rim.

Has a nice pull up jumper near basket, you all have seen his spin move followed by the pull up.

Solid help defender. Also a decent strong side defender.

Good free throw shooter.

Actually not a bad post player.

Injuries and Mike having him play like a SG made him regress last year imo but I know what to expect from him.

His best strengths rely on him attacking the basket and using his mid/range game.

As of now he only needs to work on his handle and 3 point shooting, also staying healthy is a big key but he has shown he can play almost the same despite being injury.

Definitely my favorite Knick player.

Bad's you like Nando and others make assumptions??? I have never seen one post throwing chandler under the bus...only compliments...

but and its a huge BUT you have to have some reality as well, he has a huge cap hold.....If the Knicks want Melo or something along that line, then guess what...how do you keep him?

Its not his fault.....in life everything is about timing....Melo just happens to want to be a knick when Chandler has a whopping cap hold as a RFA with a QO....

Do you remember Lee, fan favorite right....well he also had a cap hold, and he is now elsewhere....its a matter of understanding the business side of basketball and for chandler the timing is not there....

If Gallo had the huge cap hold he would be the one being mentioned in trades....

But all the accusations about fans throwing chandler under the bus?? It should stop unless you show me some posts that prove your accusation....

And Nando, for a guy who is worldly experienced, and a self pronounced Knick fan one would think you'd understand this instead of throwing Donnie under the bus all the time...

You said a lot here and none of it consisted of a single positive thing about what Chandler can do, which is what I thought this thread was about. Isn't that a slap in the face in some way or is someone supposed to believe your post about Will is positive as well.

I am sure when I go over to see the "what can Gallo do" thread, your comments will look drastically different. It's that type of stuff that leads people to believe Will gets no respect.

You keep mentioning the cap hold for Will next yr.

Why can't the Knicks wait until we have a guy like Melo ready to sign before we start talking of what might happen or who won;t be here and why in a yr from now. I highly doubt Melo will be here without a trade so half of these comments may be unnecessary.

Will scores inside, outside, driving to the basket, stopping and popping, finger rolls at the rim, dunks over big men, put backs, rebounds, and the best team defender on the Knicks. Will flat out gets it done under all circumstances...whether he's hurt or not. toughness and defense back on the Knicks...love it
