It appears as if he is finally getting comfortable with the players around him again and he is slashing and getting to the line much more than the past. He's being the glue guy that we all grew to love last year pre-Melo trade.
I hope he continues to have success.

I hope he continues to play well... it will give us another punch and his teammates will start to continue to trust him and that will boost his confidence!

Agreed....Breen mentioned today how Fields just looks like hes having so much fun playing ball when hes playing well and looks like a scared miserable boy when hes off....
Fields has his own type of nice guy swag when he gets rolling....you saw it today right away in the first when he and Tyson were on a 2 on 1 break, Fields was looking for the lob so the D stayed with Tyson and Fields kicked it up a gear and threw it home......that was the Landry swag from last year we have been missing

ya fields is the type of player who was killed when melo came in an started holding the ball. every game there is ball movement fields plays great. i expected his rebounding numbers to drop since melo and tyson are much better rebounders than wilson and gallo were. his assists however impress me a lot and his defense is still above average. i think he has found his role and that we should keep him as the starting 2 after davis gets back. shumps has a sky high ceiling but has a lot of work to do to get there. fields ceiling isn't as high but he is a much much more complete player atm
