Homer pick: Eric Decker. In one game he really showed that he is going to be a legit WR in the NFL.
Non-homer pick: Jahvid Best. I saw him play today and I popped a boner like Jim Schwartz did. He is what the Lions franchise has been missing since Barry Sanders left.

Can't make a homer pick because none of the Packers rookies look like rookie stars. I'll say Ryan Matthews in San Diego looks like he is going to light it up this year. Spiller looks pretty awesome too.

yeah i agree! Ryan Matthews is also my None Homer pick too! hes going to be a stud!
now as for my Homer Pick! Gotta go With Aaron Hernandez becuase he looks like hes been in the league for a few years and his QB is TB not Tebow which means Hernandez might get the ball more!

Homer pick: Jason Pierre-Paul. In the game against the Jets he had a sack on Mark Sanchez and played very well the entire game.
Non-homer pick: CJ Spiller. I love his running style. He had that one big run against the Colts where he made 3 or 4 defenders miss in one play... he's going to be a great player.

I wouldnt call my pick a homer pick, but on the Chiefs, the rookie that i really like what i am seeing, is Kendrick Lewis. The safety we picked up in the 5th round. McGraw is a veteran presence and was the unquestioned starter be4 TC, and now, it looks like Klewis has picked up the job and ran away with it. Very excited about him.
Non homer pick-Javhid Best

Homer pick: TE Aaron Hernandez. He's shown great ability to get open and stretch the field and has a good arsenal of moves to make plays after the catch. He showed veteran like poise on Thursday, adjusting to a Tom Brady pass in the endzone for a touchdown. He looks like he could be a force as a rookie this season.
Non homer pick: RB Ryan Mathews. I've only seen bits and pieces of him so far but from what I've seen, he looks like he could have a very solid rookie season. He shows good burst, excellent vision, and is obviously a home run threat.
