Forget what your team did that year, forget homer picks. Pick what NFL seasons mean the most to you....
Mine are....
1990 season.... I started to love the NFL as a 10 year old kid that year. Loved Superbowl XXV, and exposed me to football really.
2005 season......I actually don't know why, but loved this season, and looking back, and playing Madden NFL 06, I get a great nostalgic feeling.
What are yours?

I've been a fan of the Pack my whole life but never really watched game for game unless it was playoff time.
The 2007-2008 season was what got me into football heavily. It was my first year of college so it was the first year I really started watching each game intensely. The Packers also started the season 4-0 and that helped. I remember the Packers and Cowboys both started 10-1, and had that Thursday Night game in Dallas to decide who would stay atop the NFC. The Packers lost, but I had a great time watching that game. Was the first time I saw Aaron Rodgers play too
Finished that year 13-3 and went to the NFC Championship where Favre threw the pick to lose it. Overall still a good year.

I have to say 1986-87 easily.^^^^^^^^that year wasn't too bad either.

2007 year was my favorite year watching football. The entire year surrounded new england and their pursuit for perfection. Each week it was "who could stop the patriots from being perfect." The journey was great, especially the two escape acts they had against the ravens and eagles in back to back weeks. in that superbowl it was lock that the pats would win a thus become the first to go 19-0. watching that game n watching not only the giants win but how was truly incredible. the play where eli miraculously escapes 3 defenders around him n then watching tyree defying reality and catching the ball off his head was truly magical. i couldnt picture even a movie being that incredible. great year

Agreed. That was the most amazing Superbowl I've ever watched and probably will watch unless it involves my Packers. I was literally in awe after "The Play". That entire drive by the Giants was amazing to be honest. They had a 4th and short that they converted. I just remember when Moss scored that TD with 2 minutes left. Everyone I was with thought that was it, that the Pats would do it. Which made that last drive THAT much more intense.

Patriots run for a perfect record then the huge underdog giants upset and last year I like the two teams with the best records (and really were the best teams) go to the superbowl and clash it out.

i based my favorite years on Super Bowls.
1990-91: Unlikely Leaders. Only Redskins Championship in my time; SBXXVI
1996-97: The Showdown. Brett Favre outduels Pats; SBXXXII
1997-98: Elways Revenge. out duels Favre; SBXXXIII
2004-05: The Power Shift. The hype of the Eagles winning their first Super Bowl. fail. Pats become a dynasty; SBXXXIX
2006-07.. Ignorance Is Bliss. Everyone saying the Bears D was going eat the Colts, and personally butt-rape Manning. fail; SBXLI
2007-08: Depth Perfection. Giants slam the door on the Pats perfect season; SBXLII
