After watching the first two pre-season games for the Arizona Cardinals I am not jumping out of my chair for the quarterback play. But as I take a deeper look there is several changes that will happen before week 1 starts. First let's start with the offense. In week two we were missing Larry Fitzgerald , Ben Patrick and Early Ducet. That is a huge part of the the offense. We also do not have Deuce Lutui starting a right guard which he has been the last couple of years. So that should surely change before the 2010 season kicks off. So looking at the offense we were missing 4 starters in week 2 pre-season. Also Beanie Wells did not play with Leinart which did not help to slow down the blitz package they were throwing our way. So for Matt Leinart and the offense there were 5 starters in total missing. Once those are put into place things should change. Let's move to the defense side of the ball. We are extremely weak at inside linebacker (for now). If you watch Daryl Washington from TCU he will be starting by week 1 also the addition of Gerald Hayes will bring this Linebacker core to a new level. Dan Williams will be anchoring the middle of the field by week 1 and Greg Toler will be are starting corner. So with that said we will have 4 new starters on defense that were not in Week 2 of Pre-Season. We have a bright future and with these changes we will have another NFC West title. Let me here your comments on this.
