Sidney Rice needs hip surgery

Yikes. Rice visited a specialist in Colorado for a problem that only seems to get worse with rest. We should get clarity regarding Rice's status soon, but we'd stay away from Rice as a fantasy starter in the meantime, while bumping up Bernard Berrian quite a bit.

Why couldn't he just have had the surgery like those three doctors suggested... now it isn't healing like he thought with rest and he left us high and dry... Sidney I love ya but you ****ed up big time with this decision.

I think he should do it because then he would be healthy for the playoffs and that's where we need him at his best. We signed Javon Walker and with Bernard Berrian, Percy Harvin, Visanthe Shiancoe, Greg Lewis, and now Javon we have a decent WR corps for Favre to throw to and we can always fall back on Adrian Peterson and the running game. I guess I was right when I thought Berrian would end up being our best WR but I never thought it would be because of this...

wow, that sucks for the vikings. they can get by for awhile without him since they have ap in the backfield. but, they will need him to be healthy this year to make the playoffs.

Hes a good player and ill miss him for fantasy. But as a packer fan this is good news. But who knows looks like javon walker is teaming up with favre again lol. woop woop.

That's bad for the Vikes, but good for the Pack. I know people say they want to play the best, but not me, I dont care if all the second unit is in, as long as my team gets the dub, I dont care lol.
