I hope 2k7 doesnt shaft players out one of my two favourite teams is Toronto
now I dont know if its cuz Americans just dont pay attention enough to the one Canadian team,
but almost every player on that team was hugely underated in 2k6 Im praying theres fair judgement this time around. Vernon Wells and BJ Ryan had decent Ratings but the main one that bugged me was Troy Glaus when u looked at his ratings they looked simmilar to in real life but the actions never happened. did any of you guys notice a slugger with a low contact rating was actually really terrible at hitting in general? I sure did hopefully this wont be a repeated problem they are also slacking on pitcher ratings and speed ratings as well in 2k6.
Even though u can go through and change ratings u cant exactly do that in xbox live also they had the Jays rated so far behind the BoSox and look who ended up having a better year, hopefully there will be a little more research done this season.

Thats because the developers are idiots who think only the Yankees and Red Soxs are good. Thats why Randy Johnson always has a 90 + rating. Hey im right there with you. I am a devil rays fan and they always shaft our guys( Carly Crawford, Scot Kazmir etc..)

I'm a long-time Jays fan, but I have to say they got the ratings okay, especially compared to the Red Sox. Boston is a much better team than the Jays; the Red Sox just had an off year last year, plus some injuries at the wrong time. It's great to recall 92-93, but those Jays days are long gone. They're really nothing special as a team when it comes down to it.

To Sickill I hear u Kazmir especially got the shaft and its true the Yanks especially get a huge boost every year Its probably all marketing i guess
As for Toronto VS Boston Baaandje I somewhat agree that boston is a better team
this year offensively though Toronto on paper look ALOT better if boston didnt have Ortiz and ManRam we all know theyd be down the pooper. however going into this season Id give boston the edge sure BUT Torontos ratings should be right under them not as if the Jays are as bad as the orioles. and just other players in general like like Sickill said look at Kazmir thats terrible he should be rated alot better than he was, like Glaus Halladay and half of the Jays they were proven solid players but arent getting the ratings in the game.

I haven't really compared them closely, so you're probably right. 2K has a reputation of boosting the ratings of the top teams - usually the media-loved American eastern clubs - and then assigning lousy ratings to everyone else. Or giving the stars great ratings even when they've been in decline for years - someone like Randy Johnson.

Yeah, RJ hasn't thrown 98 in about 2 or 3 years, but he was consistantly doing it in this game last year.
