How do I manually set pay-off pitch outside the strike zone...?

When a batter is assigned the Inside Edge scouting report, sometimes the computer sets-up the pay-off pitch rectangle outside the strike zone.

However, I can't seem to find a way to manually do it myself.

I can set it up inside the strike zone... you know, you move the right stick to the top, bottom, right, bottom-left, etc... but the pay-off pitch rectangle always stays in the strike zone.

How do I manually set it up outside the strike zone, the way the computer does...?
