I may be wrong... but last year I wanna say I remember reading that becuase of a loophole in the ESPN Contract, 2K could use the voices of Miller and Morgan for one more year. So if I remeber correctly that'd mean we lose that aspect of presentation... where does 2K go from here then?

I say sign a deal with FOX. U can have Joe buck to do announcing.. IMO that would be great and would make the game experience much better and more realistic.

OK, but you can't get Tim McCarver. He's the one color commentator that is actually worse than Morgan. They seem to compete to see who can be stupider on air every year.

God..not Tim McCarver.

Joe Buck's voice sounds like Peanut Butter and Velvet.

But I don't think you get one without the other and I'd rather not have Joe Buck if my only other option was having McCarver. I loathe him that much. I also cannot stand Steve Lyons.

I don't really care who they get as long as they do a good job. I'd prefer not to ever have Rex Hudler again or Krukow from the MVP series. I wouldn't mind if they got Dan and Peter from the NFL series or two other "fake" guys as long as they didn't do anything annoying. Some guys try to be funny, but aren't. I don't mind a little bit of humor as long as it is done well and not over done.

What do you think of an idea to let regular people audition to be annoucers in the game. I think this would be another thing they could do to help gain some interest in their products. They could audition a broadcaster, a color guy and a field guy/girl.

My thought is that nobody buys the game for the annoucers. At least, I've never heard of such a thing. And if there are two equal games, I doubt that the annoucers are considered for a tie breaker. So as long as they don't do a bad job (which would be the point of the interview/try out/audition), why not?

The company wouldn't have to pay the broadcasters or pay for the rights to use the broadcasters. So right off the bat, the can save some money. If the people they used received good feedback, they could use them in the next years game and if they stunk, they could re-do the whole process the next year.
